304 Stainless Steel / Iron Crimped Wire Mesh Panel is a pre-crimped woven mesh made from stainless steel 304 or high-carbon/iron wire. Each wire is crimped first and then woven, so the opening stays uniform even under vibration or high tension. The panel can be supplied in plain crimp, intermediate crimp, locked crimp, single or double wave weave to match different screening or protection jobs.
With mesh sizes from 1–18 mesh and wire diameters from 0.05–22 mm, it can work as a heavy-duty screening media on mining/vibrating screens, as an industrial safety guard, or as a stainless BBQ/cooking net. 304 stainless gives corrosion and heat resistance for food, chemical, and outdoor use; iron / high-carbon steel gives higher strength at lower cost for quarry, construction and machinery protection.

Crimped mesh panels are widely mounted on vibrating screens, trommel screens and crusher feed screens to separate stones, gravel, sand, coal and other bulk minerals. The pre-crimped structure keeps the opening square even under strong vibration, so the screening accuracy stays stable. Heavy wire (2–6 mm) and low mesh counts (1–8 mesh) are often used for primary and intermediate screening where impact and abrasion are high.
In oil, chemical, metallurgy and building-material plants, crimped mesh can act as a support or filtering layer for separating solid particles from liquids or slurries. Stainless steel 304/316 is preferred because it resists acid, alkali, salt water and higher temperatures, so it can be used in wash tanks, slurry filtration, cement / gypsum / lime classification, and as reinforcement mesh in composite filters.
Because the panel is rigid, flat and easy to frame, it is a good choice for machine guards, fan covers, conveyor protection, window/door protective screens and architectural safety partitions. Different crimping styles allow you to balance air flow and strength, so operators are protected while the machine can still dissipate heat and ventilate.
Pre-crimped mesh made from 304 stainless steel can be made into BBQ grids, roasting racks, drying baskets and food-processing trays. The mesh is smooth, not easy to deform at high temperature, and can be supplied with zinc/chrome finish for economy. Uniform openings help food heat evenly and are easy to wash, so it’s suitable for commercial kitchens, food plants and export-grade barbecue nets.
The mesh panel can be fabricated into aquaculture cages, pond/fish barriers, poultry protection and storage baskets because it has good load-bearing capacity and is not easy to rust (in stainless). In material handling it can be used as sieving and grading mesh for grain, feed, plastic pellets and fertilizer; in slurry/effluent treatment it works as the first-stage classification screen to remove large particles before fine filtration.
